This makes it more possible for others to come and pay their respects as they see fit. Meanwhile, having the remains displayed in a home or office assures that they remain close to family at all times. This may have a comforting effect, and it also provides greater flexibility in the event that you wish to have the remains moved. 

 

Scattering remains is always a popular option, thanks in large part to the ability to send a message in the process. Remains are generally scattered at a symbolic location. Additionally, the scattering itself may be associated with some kind of ceremony—either a formal occasion or something more intimate and casual for just a few close friends and family.  

 

Of course, some aren’t interested in the more traditional solutions. Some prefer something a bit more progressive or creative. There is certainly nothing wrong with that. It has become increasingly popular to have remains used to plant a tree, create artwork or jewelry, or even to fashion a tattoo. Each of these options provides a unique way to remember a loved one, and that’s really the important thing.
