Many families associate the idea of cremation with getting some kind of urn. There is a reason for that. Urns are very common, and they are often used to display someone’s cremated remains at a home, office, or other location. That is certainly one way to do it, and it makes a lot of sense under many circumstances. But it isn’t the only way. If you or someone you know is looking into direct cremation in or near Greenfield, WI, you should know that someone in your area is ready to discuss all of your options in greater detail. Discussing those options can help you make key decisions when it comes to things like the products that you need and don’t need.

We also believe it is important to provide you with support and guidance to whatever extent you need it. You should never be alone during a time like this, and you should not have to figure all of these things out on your own. We are here for you.

So the big question is whether or not you really need an urn when it comes to cremation. And the best answer is that it depends on what you plan on doing with the cremated remains. In the event you want to display those remains in a very traditional fashion, some kind of urn may well make sense. This is a very traditional solution. So there is a lot to like about the idea of an urn. It really does make a lot of sense in any number of circumstances. But they are not the only option.

In fact, there are a number of containers that may be appropriate depending upon your needs. Those containers all look different and may function a bit differently as well. So if you are interested in doing things a little bit differently, you do have some options.

You also may want to think about creative solutions that don’t require a traditional container. The most obvious concept is scattering the remains. Though you may want some kind of container to house the remains until they are scattered, that container obviously won’t be as important as it would be in the event you wanted to display the remains. So that’s one possibility. You could also turn the remains into artwork, jewelry, or even a tattoo. You could even use them to plant a tree. These options mean that an urn really isn’t necessary at all.
