Joanne C. Morgan, 76, died on October 26, 2019 at her residence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
At her request, we will be holding a private family memorial.
Joanne was born on July 12, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Robert and Dorothea Becker. During her youth she spent a lot of time with horses - both riding and caring for them. Throughout her whole life, she maintained an extreme passion for all animals, but especially horses and dogs. Additionally, she enjoyed reading, writing and music - especially Elvis, Willie Nelson, Itzhack Perlman and Freddie Mercury. In her later years, she spent a lot of time learning how to use a computer, how to code html, and editing articles and books for authors around the world. Her most notable accomplishment as of late, was partnering with a psychology professor from England to help edit the author's PHD work.
Although she enjoyed many different things, her greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her children Lori (Hashem), Todd, Scott and Tim. Her grandchildren Tara (Ryan), Scott, Zak (Grace), Brandon, Raifeh, Jessica, Cody and Ruba. And last but not least, her great grandchildren Brady, Ryden, Liam, Kiley, Shalynn and Jameson. And we should definitely not forget her great grandpuppies - Gaby, Toby, RT, Maggie and several others, all of which she absolutely adored seeing. She loved no one more fiercely than her family - they are what gave her the biggest smiles and greatest joys of her life. She will be missed tremendously by all who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wisconsin Humane Society on her behalf. With these donations we will be creating a brick or dedicating a tree in her memory. Most importantly, we will be helping animals and we know that will make her smile. Donations can be made directly online via this link: www.wihumane.org/donate.
